On Thursday, February 18, 2022, at approximately 1150 hours, the individual approached the 76-year-old female victim in front of 252 W. 57th Street, within the confines of the Midtown North Precinct in Manhattan, and punched her in the back of her head.
The individual fled westbound on 57th Street towards 8th Avenue.
The victim sustained swelling and pain and refused medical attention.
Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 20-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged in regard to the above-listed incident.

Charges:
- assault;
- attempted murder;
- criminal possession of a weapon.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
