Edgar Manon, 42, Wanted For The Murder Of Manuel Valarezo, 32

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance to identify the whereabouts of the following individual in connection to a homicide that occurred within the confines of the 34th Precinct in Manhattan.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at approximately 1646 hours, in front of 70 Post Avenue, the individual shot the 32-year-old male victim multiple times and fled the scene on foot.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 32-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive with a gun shot wound to the upper chest and a gun shot wound to the arm at the location.

EMS responded and transported the male to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the individual was identified as Edgar Manon, 42, Black, weighing 200 lbs., with a beard.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

The investigation remains ongoing.

All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
