On Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 1836 hours, police responded to a 911 call of individuals shot at E. Tremont Avenue and Southern Boulevard, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, police discovered four (4) individuals shot.
Victim #1, a 28-year-old male, was shot in the chest and transported to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Victim #2, a 27-year-old male, was shot in the leg and transported to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
Victim #3, a 46-year-old male, was shot in the torso and transported to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
Victim #4, a 25-year-old male, was shot in the arm and also transported to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

Following an ongoing police investigation, the following 28-year-old male was arrested and charged.

Bronx, NY 10452
- criminal possession of a weapon – loaded firearm.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
