On Saturday, September 17, 2022, at approximately 1700 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress at 2550 Briggs Avenue, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 19-year-old male with a stab wound to the neck.
EMS responded and transported the aided male to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Two (2) knives were recovered at the scene of the crime.
A person of interest was taken into custody.
Charges are pending at this time.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
