The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the following person, who has been reported missing from, and resides within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that Xavier Mercado was last seen leaving his residence on Friday, April 4, 2025, at approximately 7:45 a.m.
The missing is described as a 14-year-old male, Hispanic, approximately 5’5″ tall, weighing 156 lbs.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue pants, white sneakers, and carrying a blue backpack.
