On Wednesday, September 4, 2025, at approximately 0249 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot inside of Starlight Park, at E. 174th Street, within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 26-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the chest.
EMS responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
