On Friday, September 15, 2023, at approximately 1441 hours, officers responded to a 911 call of multiple aided children inside of 2707 Morris Avenue, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 1-year-old male unconscious and unresponsive, a 2-year-old male unconscious and unresponsive, and a 8-month-old female unconscious and unresponsive inside of the location.
EMS responded to the location and removed all the aided individuals to Montefiore Medical Center, where the 1-year-old male was pronounced deceased. The 2-year-old male is currently listed in critical condition and the 8-month-old female is listed in stable condition. A fourth aided individual, a 2-year-old male, was removed via private means to BronxCare Health System, where he is listed in stable condition.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
