The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the following person, who resides within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

It was reported to police that Melanie McBurnie was last seen in the vicinity of W. 136th Street and Lenox Avenue, within the confines of the 32nd precinct in Manhattan, on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at approximately 1622 hours.
The missing is described as a 12-year-old female, Black, approximately 5’4″ tall, weighing 125 lbs., small build, with a medium-dark skin complexion, reddish / brown hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and black sweatpants.
