The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the following person, who has been reported missing from, and resides within the confines of the 49th Precinct in the Bronx.

It was reported to police that Maria Alvarez was last seen leaving 200 E. 161st Street on Friday, March 21, 2025, at approximately 2:50 p.m.
The missing is described as a 70-year-old female, Hispanic, approximately 5’5″ tall, weighing 140 lbs.
She was last seen wearing a beige sweater, a pink shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers.
