On Sunday, October 09, 2022, at approximately 2025 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, stabbed inside of an MTA BX19 Bus, at the intersection of E. 149th Street and Gerard Avenue, within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 55-year-old male with stab wounds to the torso.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased.
Further investigation revealed the male was involved in a dispute with a female and a male on the bus, when the unidentified individuals stabbed the victim.
Both individuals then fled the location, on foot, prior to arrival of police.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
