On Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at approximately 1850 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call of a male, shot in front of 2525 Grand Avenue, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 39-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS responded and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
