On Saturday, April 09, 2022, at approximately 0056 hours, police responded to a Shotspotter activation at 1144 Bergen Street, within the confines of the 77th Precinct in Brooklyn.
Upon arrival, officers observed two (2) males inside of the lobby of the location with gunshot wounds.
A 38-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the head and a 45-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the torso and a graze wound to the ear.
EMS responded to the location and transported both males to NYC Health + Hospitals / Kings County, where the 38-year-old male was pronounced deceased and the 45-year-old male is in stable condition.
There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
