On Thursday, June 29, 2023, at approximately 0032 hours, police responded to a 911 call of shots, fired at E. 213th Street and Holland Avenue, within the confines of the 47th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 34-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the right leg.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, in stable condition.
Further investigation revealed a second victim from the incident location, a 26-year-old male, was transported, via private means, to Montefiore Medical Center, with sustained gunshot wounds to the chest and shoulder; he was subsequently pronounced deceased thereat.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
