On Sunday, September 24, 2023, at approximately 1901 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot in front of 1480 Popham Avenue, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 47-year-old male within the driver’s seat of an SUV, with sustained gunshot wounds to the torso.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
