On Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at approximately 2159 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress at Loring Place and Burnside Avenue, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, police observed a 30-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds about the body and a 19-year-old male with trauma to the head.
EMS responded to the location and transported both victims to St. Barnabas Hospital.
The 19-year-old male is listed in stable condition.
The 30-year-old male succumbed to his injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased by hospital staff.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
