On Monday, June 8, 2026, at approximately 0008 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call of an assault at the intersection of E. 207th Street and Decatur Avenue, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 23-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.
EMS responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
