n Thursday, January 1, 2026, at approximately 0654 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot in the vicinity of Morris Avenue and Cross Bronx Expressway, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 55-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS responded and pronounced the victim deceased on scene.
