he New York City Police Department (NYPD) is requesting the public’s assistance in locating the individual listed below, who is wanted in connection with a murder, which occurred within the confines of the 41st Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to the police that on Monday, December 30, 2024, at approximately 2035 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call of a person, shot inside of 837 Home Street, Bronx, NY 10459.
An unidentified individual approached the victim and discharged a firearm, striking him in the chest. The unidentified individual fled on foot, traveling eastbound on Home Street to parts unknown.
The sought individual is described as an adult male, Black, with a dark skin complexion and long dreadlocks.
He was last seen wearing a black coat, black pants and dark-colored sneakers.
Upon arrival, police observed a 28-year-old male, who sustained a gunshot wound to the chest.
The victim was transported by private means to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.
