The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the male, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who is wanted in connection to an attempted robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 52nd Precinct / Transit District 11 in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Tuesday, February 08, 2022, at approximately 1830 hours, inside of the Jerome Avenue / W. 183rd Street subway station, on the southbound 4 platform, the suspect approached a 19-year-old male, displayed a knife and demanded his cellphone.

The victim ran away down a flight of stairs, sustaining a minor ankle injury and refused medical attention on scene.

The suspect, an adult male, Black, with dreadlocks, fled without taking any property.
