The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male, seen in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is sought in connection with a robbery and an assault, which occurred within the confines of the 13th Precinct in Manhattan.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, March 05, 2022, at approximately 0400 hours, the victim, a 31-year-old male, was walking at the corner of West 23rd Street and 7th Avenue, when an unidentified male individual punches the victim in the face, making him fall to the ground.

The unidentified male then removes the victim’s wallet and cellphone and flees on foot towards 6th Avenue with three other individuals. The victim was removed to Lenox Health Greenwich Village Hospital in stable condition.

The unidentified male individual is described as an adult male, with light skin complexion, and a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a black and light-gray jacket, blue jeans, white sneakers and gray winter hat.
