The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male, seen in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who is sought in connection with a robbery, which occurred within the confines of the 83rd Precinct in Brooklyn.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Sunday, January 09, 2022, at 0500 hours,inside of 85 Palmetto Street, a multi-unit residential building, an unidentified male approached the victim, a 24-year-old male, working as a security guard at the location, produced a switchblade and demanded the victim’s cellphone and password.

The victim complied and the unidentified male removed his Android cellphone, valued at $200. The unidentified male also removed $2,700 in electronics and a case of hand sanitizer valued at $100.

The unidentified male exited the location and fled in a dark-color vehicle.
