The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male, seen in the attached surveillance photographs, who is sought in connection with a robbery and a reckless endangerment (shot fired), which occurred within the confines of the 34th Precinct in Manhattan.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at 1444 hours, in front of 651 W. 180th Street, an unidentified male took a 26-year-old female’s purse.

The victim, a 31-year-old male, intervened and the unidentified male discharged a handgun one (1) time, striking the victim in his left foot.

The unidentified male fled on foot.

The victim was transported by EMS in stable condition to NYC Health + Hospitals / Harlem.

Victim #1 was not injured, and her purse was recovered.
