On Monday, January 5, 2026, at approximately 1359 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male stabbed in front of 3077 Third Avenue, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 53-year-old male unconscious and unresponsive with multiple stab wounds throughout the body.
EMS responded and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
