On Saturday, July 02, 2022, at approximately 1332 hours, police responded to a 911 call of shots fired in the vicinity of E. 156th Street and Melrose Avenue, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 19-year-old male with two gunshot wounds; one to the head and one to the right leg.
EMS responded and transported the aided male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 19- and 25-year-old male individuals were arrested and charged on Saturday, July 02, 2022, at 2200 hours, and on August 15, 2022, at 1015 hours respectivy, both within the confines of the 40th Precinct.
