On Sunday, October 01, 2023, at approximately 1711 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a person, shot inside of 154 E. 175th Street, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 35-year-old male with a sustained gunshot wound to the torso.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 27-year-old male individual was arrested and charged on Sunday, October 01, 2023, at approximately 1710 hours, within the confines of the 46th Precinct.

Charges:
- murder;
- reckless endangerment;
- criminal possession of a weapon – loaded firearm.
The investigation remains ongoing.
