On Sunday, March 19, 2023, at approximately 2348 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot at a deli, located at 4702 White Plains Road, within the confines of the 47th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 24-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the torso.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased.
A second victim from this incident, a 42-year-old male, with a gunshot wound to his right leg, was transported via private means to Montefiore Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.
