On Sunday, February 27, 2022, at approximately 0819 hours, at 2289 5th Avenue, within the confines of the 25th Precinct in Manhattan, police responded a 911 call of a person, shot at the location.
Upon arrival, police discovered a 38-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the head, inside of a parked vehicle at the location.
EMS responded and pronounced the aided deceased at the scene.
A short time later, a 24-year-old male transported himself to Harlem Hospital with a gunshot wound to the left arm, where he was initially listed in stable condition.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
