On Friday, June 30, 2022, at approximately 1521 hours, police responded to a 911 call of shots, fired in the vicinity of W. 148th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue, within the confines of the 30th Precinct in Manhattan.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 17-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds to the back.
EMS responded and transported the aided male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Harlem, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
