Anthony Savarese, 41, Murdered

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip, who is wanted in connection to the homicide, which occurred within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.

On Monday, February 07, 2022, at approximately 0002 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot at 2296 Andrews Avenue, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct.

Upon arrival, police observed a 41-year-old male, lying on the ground, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to his head.

EMS also responded and pronounced the male deceased on the scene.

The suspect is described as a male, medium complexion, approximately in his mid-30s.

He was last seen wearing all black clothing.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.
