On Thursday, December 29, 2022, at approximately 1653 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot in the vicinity of E. 167th Street and Park Avenue, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, police observed a 34-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the hip.
EMS transported the male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
