On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at approximately 1710 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call of multiple individuals, shot at the intersection of Broadway and W. 238th Street, within the confines of the 50th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 16-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the back, a 15-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the right leg, and a 13-year-old female with a gunshot wound to the right leg.
EMS responded and transported all three victims to St. Barnabas Hospital, where the 16-year-old victim was pronounced deceased.
The 13-year-old female and 15-year-old male are in stable condition.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
