On Monday, February 13, 2023, at approximately 1857 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot inside of 689 E. 187 Street, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 22-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.
EMS responded and transported the aided male to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

Pursuant to an ongoing police investigation, on Saturday, May 06, 2023, at 0010 hours, within the confines of the 48th Precinct, the following individual has been arrested and charged in regard to the above-listed incident.

Charges:
- murder;
- manslaughter;
- criminal possession of a weapon: loaded firearm
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
