On Saturday, August 06, 2022, at approximately 0910 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an aided individual in front of 720 Pelham Parkway South, within the confines of the 49th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two (2) aided, unconscious individuals at the rear of 2199 Cruger Avenue.
Officers observed a 35-year-old male and a 28-year-old female, unconscious and unresponsive, with injuries, indicative of a fall from an elevated position.
EMS responded to the location and pronounced both aided individuals deceased at the scene.
Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, it was determined the aided female sustained blunt force trauma to her head, prior to the fall. As such, her death has been deemed a homicide.
The manner of death for the second individual (male) is deemed a suicide.
Following proper family notification, the deceased have been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
