Namel Colon, 36, Arrested For The Murder Of Jennifer Ynoa, 36

On Sunday, January 02, 2021, at approximately 2145 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a female, shot in front of 488 Dekalb Avenue, within the confines of the 79th Precinct in Brooklyn.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 36-year-old female with a gunshot wound to the torso, unconscious and unresponsive on the ground.

EMS responded and transported the victim to Brooklyn Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

The individual, sought by the police, in connection to the above-listed murder, is described as an adumt male, 30-40 years of age, Black, with a heavy build.

He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and gray pants.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 36-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged in regard to the above-listed murder.

The investigation remains ongoing.
