On Saturday, May 06, 2023, at approximately 0430 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot at 4371 3rd Avenue, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, police determined that a 29-year-old male was shot in the chest at the location and was transported via private means to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
A firearm was recovered at the scene of the accident.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
