The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs, who is wanted in connection to an attempted rape, which occurred within the confines of the 1st Precinct / Transit District 2 in Manhattan.

The following has been reported to police.

On Wednesday, February 09, 2022, at approximately 1020 hours, the individual approached the 21-year-old female victim inside of a northbound E train, approaching the Canal Street subway station.

The individual proceeded to push the victim into the corner of the train and attempted to rape her.

The individual fled the train at the Canal Street subway station toward another train in the station.

The victim was evaluated at the scene.

Surveillance photographs of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
