The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached forensic artist sketch, who is wanted in connection to an attempted rape within the confines of the 13th Precinct / Transit District 2 in Manhattan.

The following has been reported to police.

On Friday, January 14, 2022, at approximately 2330 hours, the individual approached the 45-year-old female victim inside the 14th Street and 7th Avenue 1, 2, and 3 train subway station.

The individual proceeded to punch her in the arm, throw her to the floor, and attempt to rape her.

The individual fled onto a northbound train when other passengers intervened.

The victim refused medical attention.

The suspect is described as an adult male in his 20s, Black, with a thin build.

A forensic artist sketches of the suspect is attached and available at DCPI.
