The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male, seen in the attached surveillance photograph, who is sought in connection with an assault, that occurred within the confines of the 6th Precinct in Manhattan.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at approximately 1740 hours, a 75-year-old male victim was in front of 41 Canal Street, when an unidentified male individual bumped into the victim, unprovoked, and a verbal dispute ensued.

The male individual then punched the victim in the face and fled on foot in a unknown vehicle to parts unknown.

The victim sustained brushing and swelling to the face and forehead but refused medical attention at the scene.

The individual is described as an adult male, in his 40s, , Asian, with a thin build.
