The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who is wanted in connection to an assault, that occurred within the confines of the 13th Precinct / Transit District 4 in Manhattan.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at approximately 0543 hours, the victim, a 36-year-old male was walking on the southbound Q train platform at the E. 14th Street and Union Square West train station, when he accidentally bumped into an unidentified male individual, which then turned physical.

The unidentified male individual then slashed the victim across his left earlobe, left neck and left hand with a razor.

The individual then boarded the southbound Q train to parts unknown.

The victim was removed to Bellevue Hospital for his lacerations in stable condition.

The individual is described as an adult male in his mid 30s, approximately 5’11” tall, weighing 175 lbs.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black jeans, black “Adidas” bag and eyeglasses.
