The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the three (3) individuals, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who are wanted in connection to an armed robbery, assault and police impersonation, which occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Monday, January 02, 2022, at approximately 1018 hours, at a residence in the vicinity of Summit Avenue and W. 164th Street, three (3) unknown male individuals knocked on an apartment door, stating they were officers of the New York City Police Department, who were executing a search warrant at that location.

When a 31-year-old male victim opened the door to his apartment, the males entered the location, zip-tied the male victim’s hands and covered his eyes with an unknown item.

The males also zip-tied the hands of a 30-year-old female inside the apartment.

One of the individuals displayed and discharged a firearm at the male victim, striking him one time in the back.

The males removed approximately $20,000 from the apartment and fled the location in a white “Mercedes-Benz” SUV southbound on Summit Avenue.

EMS responded and transported the male victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln in stable condition.

EMS also transported the female victim to BronxCare Health System for minor injuries.

Upon further investigation, it was also determined that one (1) of the individuals spray painted multiple cameras at the location prior to the incident.

Property damage was also reported to the male victim’s apartment door.

The first individual is described as a male with a light skin complexion. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, light colored baseball hat, black mask, safety protection glasses and white gloves.

The second individual is described as a male with a light skin complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball hat, black jacket, dark colored pants and dark colored sneakers.

The third individual is described as a male.
