The New York City Police Department is seeking the public s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph, who is wanted in connection to a robbery and an assault, which occurred in transit, within the confines of Midtown South / Transit District 1 in Manhattan.

The following has been reported to police.

On Saturday, February 19, 2022, at approximately 1800 hours, the individual approached the 23-year-old female victim, while on the northbound 7 train platform, inside the Bryant Park subway station, grabbed the victim s phone.

The victim resisted, at which point the individual took the phone and kicked her in the stomach.

He then threw the phone on the track bed and fled out of the subway station.

The victim was not transported to the hospital.

The individual is described as an adult male, 28 to 35 years of age, Hispanic, approximately 5’08” tall, with dark hair, wearing a gray sweat suit.
