The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male, seen in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is sought in connection with a grand larceny, which occurred in Transit within the confines of the 75th Precinct / Transit District 33 in Brooklyn.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 0150 hours inside of the Van Siclen Avenue Station, the victim, a 51-year-old male, was waiting on the platform for an A Train when an unidentified male snatched his wallet from his back pocket.

The unidentified male fled on foot topside.

The wallet contained $300, ID and bank cards.

A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
