On Monday, July 11, 2022, at approximately 2035 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot in front of 187 Sherman Avenue, within the confines of the 34th Precinct in Manhattan.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 24-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the chest.
EMS responded to the location and transported the male victim to the St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
