On Saturday, June 1, 2024, at approximately 0608 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call of a female, assaulted at 1418 Oakley Street, within the confines of the 47th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 37-year-old female with a slash wound to her neck, unconscious and unresponsive.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where she was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
