On Monday, January 31, 2022, at approximately 1041 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot in front of 568 Empire Boulevard, within the confines of the 71st Precinct in Brooklyn.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an unidentified, unconscious and unresponsive male in his 40s, with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
